| Mansfield Recreation Reserve Advisory Committee | To oversee the management and development of the Mansfield Recreation Reserve and Lords Reserve. The Committee will advise Council on strategic matters pertaining to the development, use and maintenance of the two named Crown Reserves. |
Mansfield Environment Advisory Committee |
Status of this Committee was changed, by Council Resolution in January 2012, from a Special Committee of Council to an Advisory Committee. Council will shortly call for expressions of interest for membership to this new Advisory Committee.
The Mansfield Environment Advisory Committee will work towards more effective and efficient projects and on-ground delivery. It will also inform and guide decision making by Council in relation to environmental management issues and sustainable development within the Mansfield Shire. It will also ensure Council is undertaking and promoting environmental conservation and sustainable resource use practices so that the natural and rural assets that provide the economic basis of Mansfield Shire can be enjoyed and utilised by future generations.

Established in November 2007 to advise Council on strategic matters pertaining to the development, use and maintenance of public use land in Mansfield Township. Charter endorsed by Council in October 2008. |
Mansfield Audit & Risk Advisory Committee |
Established in May 2004 to provide appropriate advice, as part of Council's governance obligatins to its community, to the CEO and Council on ensuring effective recognition, identification and management of risk; improved credibility and objectivity of internal and external financial reports; compliance with relevant laws and regulations; and the effectiveness of an annual audit program. |
Development Approvals Special Committee of Council |
Established under Section 86 of the Local Government Act 1989 to assist Council in establishing a sustainable planning process by fostering sound planning practices and processes that reflect good governance and the community's aspirations. |
