The next drumMUSTER collection will be held at the Council Depot, Lakins Road, Mansfield on Wednesday 8 April 2015 between 9am and 12 noon.
Rinse them out, round them up and run them in!
One of the greatest problems facing users of crop production and animal health products is the disposal of empty chemical containers.
drumMUSTER is the national program that has been set up for the collection and recycling of cleaned eligible non returnable crop production and on-farm animal health chemical containers.
As a chemical user, drumMUSTER provides you with a defined route to safely dispose of your used chemical containers. All you are required to do is clean your containers thoroughly (triple-rinse) so they are free of any chemical residue then deliver them our Lakins Road drumMUSTER compound at the Mansfield Shire Depot.
Maindample CFA, in partnership with Council, will be operating drumMUSTER collections throughout the year - this recycling effort is a free initiative, however Maindample CFA reaps a benefit because for every drum dropped off, they receive 25 cents.
drumMUSTER not only promotes the important habit of recycling but it also gives you with the opportunity to clean out your unwanted chemical containers. drumMUSTER also provides great financial support for one of our local brigades too, so everyone wins!
