Give your old television or computer the boot - Clean up Australia day

The perfect time is NOW to recycle your electronic waste! 

Together with Up2Us Landcare Alliance, we're delighted to offer a drop off service for 4 days where you can dispose of your electronic goods (see list below of what you can dispose of). 

From Monday, 6 March to Thursday, 9 March you can drop off your e-waste at Council's depot in Lakins Road at the following times:

  • Monday, 6 March: 1.00pm to 4.00pm
  • Tuesday, 7 March: 9.00am to 12.00pm
  • Thursday, 9 March: 9.00am to 12.00pm

Items will be accepted until the e-waste recycle bin is full.

Can’t get along to those times?
For those in the Central Business District of Mansfield, on Wednesday, 8 March representatives from Up2Us, Mansfield Shire and Mansfield Primary School will be walking around to as many businesses as possible in order to collect your items. Keep an eye open for them!

The following items can be disposed of:
· Plasma Televisions
· Cathode Ray Tube (CRT) Televisions
· Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) Televisions
· Rear Projection Televisions

IT Computer products:
· Laptops/notebooks/palmtops
· Desktops/Central Processing Units
· Multi-Function Devices that print, copy scan and/or fax
· Mouse and trackball units
· Printers/Scanners
· Hard Drives
· Digital video disk drives
· Floppy disks/drives
· Keyboards
· Joysticks and gamepads
· Web cameras
· Compact disk drives
· Electrical transformers in CPU’s
· Computer Monitors (CRT)
· Any item that plugs into a computer!

This is a great opportunity for you to clear out and recycle your dusty old computer and TV items that you may have in your homes and sheds.
