Mansfield Council CEO Ms Kaylene Conrick has resigned from her role after two and a half years. Ms Conrick’s resignation will be effective from 8 July 2022.
Mayor Cr James Tehan acknowledged the considerable contribution that Kaylene has made in that time, not only within Council but across many community activities and projects.
“We have been extremely fortunate to have had Kaylene’s experience, leadership, and commitment as CEO. Kaylene started her local government career with the old Shire of Mansfield in 1993 and after an impressive career, including three other CEO roles, it was fitting and to our benefit for Kaylene to close her career back in her hometown” Mayor Tehan said.
“Her unique talent for forming successful relationships with community groups, individuals, and government and for getting things done that matter to our community, has contributed to where we are today”.
“Kaylene has brought a professional culture to Mansfield Shire that has led us through the implementation of a new local government act, a general election, and progressed key strategic projects, all within the pandemic environment”.
“Councillors will miss Kaylene’s calm, her sage advice and guidance. We are sorry to see her go but understand that she wants to spend more time with family and friends. We sincerely thank her for her time at Council and wish her all the best for the future”
“Council has initiated the process to recruit the next chief executive officer. A nationwide recruitment campaign will commence in the next couple of weeks”.
