The 2021 Community Christmas Picnic run by Council, the Community Bank Mansfield & District and Mansfield District Business Association (MDBA) on Thursday 16 December was a great success, with more than 1200 people in attendance.
The event included music and activities for families and children and a special guest appearance by Santa Claus.
Mayor Cr James Tehan thanked the community for coming together after a challenging year.
“It was a real joy to see our community able to come together, to celebrate and have fun,” said Cr Tehan.
“Events like this provide an opportunity to unite and celebrate what it means to be a community.”
Prizes were awarded for best decorated picnic area and most festive outfit.
