A nine metre temporary wall at the Mansfield Library is providing a perfect exhibition space for the work of young Mansfield artists.
The exhibit ‘Dreaming with Eyes open…’, features bookmarks created by 72 children, who entered this year’s Children’s Book Week competition.
Mayor Cr James Tehan said the quality of the artwork and the diversity of imaginative responses to the theme is very impressive.
“The exhibition is a brilliant way of connecting children to their local Library, reading, and their community,” he said.
The exhibition will remain on display until early December, when the Library will move to the Visitor Information Centre temporarily during more disruptive construction works.
“I encourage everyone to visit the Library and see the amazing talent on display.”
Access to Mansfield Library is currently through the car park at the rear of the Library.
