Council has released its Annual Report 2020-2021. The report highlights the activities and achievements of Council over the past financial year.

Chief Executive Officer Kaylene Conrick said that the Annual Report reflected a strong year and a new direction for Council.

“I’m proud of the work Council has been able to accomplish this year,” said Ms Conrick.

“While this is an important statutory document, the Annual Report provides a great overview for the activities Council has carried out across the shire this year.”

“We looked after more than 840 kilometres of road, registered more than 2,000 pets, collected more than 3,600 tonnes of kerbside waste and recycling, provided services to more than 70 infants and their parents, served almost 18,000 library patrons and distributed more than $500,000 in grants, services and materials to the community and businesses.”

“With $5.9 million on capital works, we spent money on renewing roads, building the Botanic Park Playground and Dual Court Stadium and many other key projects while achieving a surplus of $6.6 million.”
