Could you potentially help with housing in Mansfield Shire?

Mansfield Shire Council is continuing to facilitate housing opportunities by bringing together developers, landowners and other community members with ideas for housing with a ‘speed dating for housing’ event on Monday 18 November 2024.

The open-door event will be set up as a speed dating event with key Council staff on-hand to answer questions about planning, regulatory services related to accommodation and food premises, building services and economic development.

Melissa Crane, General Manager Investment and Planning at Mansfield Shire Council, said the initiative continued the momentum of the housing work Council had been facilitating between key stakeholders in the industry.

“Whether you are just starting to explore your options or are already well advanced in your plans, we want to help you move forward with ideas for creating additional opportunities for housing in Mansfield Shire.

“From infrastructure to telecommunications, environmental protections and other services, you are invited to chat to Council’s experts so you can further advance your plans with confidence.”

Drop-in sessions will take place at Mansfield Shire Council Chambers on Monday 18 November from 10am-12midday and 1pm-3pm. Contact Council’s Economic Development Officer Business & Industry, Derek Beautyman, if you have queries regarding the sessions - derek.beautyman@mansfield.vic.gov.au; 0429 330 967.
