Mansfield Shire Council is looking for an enthusiastic, experienced and community focused individual to take up the role of Project Officer for Waste and Resource Recovery. The successful candidate will support the delivery and enhancement of services in respect to Council’s kerbside waste and recycling collection, landfill waste and recyclable acceptance, and operation of the resource recovery centre.
Reporting to Coordinator Waste and Environment, the Project Officer’s Waste and Resource Recovery responsibilities supporting the Coordinator Waste Management in the delivery of programs and initiatives outlined in the Mansfield Shire Council Waste Management Strategy, represent Council at meetings with waste management agencies and authorities and assist with the preparation of media releases to inform and educate the community on waste minimization issues and opportunities.
Remuneration will be based on Band 5A classification $71,717.66 per annum plus superannuation according to the Mansfield Shire Council Enterprise Agreement 2022.
