School Crossing Supervisor (0.2FTE)

Mansfield Shire Council is looking for enthusiastic, experienced and community focused individuals to take up the role of School Crossing Supervisor. The successful candidates are responsible for providing supervision which enhances and increases the safety of school children and members of the public using school crossings, in accordance with the VicRoads publication “Instructions for School Crossing Supervisors”.

Reporting to the Local Laws Officer, School crossing will supervise and assist pedestrians using school crossings, in accordance with established procedures, report faults, malfunctions, and obstructions concerning the school crossings, notify if an offence occurs, such as a vehicle failing to stop after a supervisor has displayed the stop.

Remuneration will be based on Band 1 Level A classification $62,030.80 (pro rata) per annum ($31.3921 per hour) plus superannuation according to the Mansfield Shire Council Enterprise Agreement 2024.
